P&D TAMPA | Rocky Point Island Hotel
Located on the 2.11-acre site of the old Crawdaddy's Restaurant in Tampa, Florida, a multi-story, above-grade boutique hotel with approximately 180 rooms is proposed. The site will include more than 5,000 square feet of combined meeting and event space and a free-standing parking structure. The hotel will have an  Autograph Collection by Marriott flag, and will feature a rooftop bar with views of the Tampa skyline, as well as beach access, a pool, ballroom, retail space, fitness center, on-site paddle boarding, and more. A City of Tampa rezoning has been completed depicting the conceptual layout for this site. Genesis is providing civil engineering design and site permitting to assist the client in achieving this goal.

CEI NORTHWEST FLORIDA | Project Update – US 98 Walton County
The US 98 construction project from Emerald Bay Drive to Tang-O-Mar Drive is making steady progress. Nearly 500 days into the more than 1,200-day project, the contractor is scheduled to redirect traffic to begin the construction of the eastbound lanes. In addition to the actual roadway construction, work is in progress for the ponds, gravity walls, and drainage structures.

Coordinates field staffing for coverage of the contractor’s operations and documents construction progress ensuring the specifications are being met.
P&D TALLAHASSEE | Spencer Field Traffic Analysis
Genesis is working with Santa Rosa County to reduce traffic delays in Pace, Florida, along the corridors of East Spencer Field Road and West Spencer Field Road. Intersections along the two corridors, including the four corners of the Spencer Naval Outlying Field, experience significant traffic congestion and delays in the a.m., mid-day, and p.m. peak hours. Genesis is conducting a traffic analysis to evaluate the existing issues and seek ways to improve the traffic conditions. Ultimately, Genesis will provide recommendations to Santa Rosa County for seven stop-controlled or signal-controlled intersections and specific intersection improvements that will significantly improve traffic flow in both corridors.

CEI SOUTHWEST FLORIDA | Project Update – Gandy Boulevard

The Gandy Boulevard project constructed a 6-lane elevated roadway from I-275 to Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and a 4-lane elevated roadway from Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard to 4th Street. This $83-million design-build project is nearing completion and has transformed the area, providing pedestrian features, bike lanes, median changes, and street lights, all in the interest of enhanced public safety.

P&D JACKSONVILLE | Fox Creek Amenity Center & Entry Feature
Genesis was the lead designer, landscape architect, and engineer for the Fox Creek Amenity Center in Duval County, Florida. The 3.5-acre amenity center includes a 3,000 SF club building, 3,800 SF pool, 1,000 SF splash pad for children, large pool deck, tennis and pickleball courts, sand volleyball courts, and a tot lot area. The club building includes a large restroom facility, 1,000 SF fitness center, and 1,000 SF meeting room. In addition, there are active open green areas as well as passive space for outdoor play and picnic activities. Genesis also provided conceptual architectural development and detailed landscape architectural design for the entrance enhancement area.
